I do not have a kid with gender dysphoria but I have watched my kid’s friends transition with breast removal and testosterone and wondered about issues of social contagion and what is gender because it is a religion I do not believe in. Reading your work is a massive relief. I am a Lib but not in the cheering section of the far left and I am a coward as I keep most of my views about gender and rogd hidden away lest I get skewered on a long pitchfork.

The list goes on and on. I am happy for the folks who have found relief in their transitions but we need more conversations and you are a huge part of this so thank you again.
Jo, you are not a coward. In my community, it would be close to social suicide for me to speak honestly about my concerns. And my child would probably never speak to me again. This is so tough to navigate.

This is brilliant. We need our government schools to be able to accommodate different values systems, including those of leftist, feminists who don't want their vulnerable daughters to be taught they are in the wrong bodies.
