Life's too short to bring younger generations up to speed. (Re-phrased: My time left on this planet is too limited.) And anyone blaming feminists for the trans issue are just plain ignorant, trying to PIQUE us into engaging with them. It's a waste of time. If someone in the younger generations has questions, I'll spend the time to give them my take. But otherwise, I ignore them. I don't read The Atlantic anymore. It isn't worth the trouble. The last article I read blamed Baby Boomers for having it easy in their cushy, life-long jobs with cushy retirement funds. The author seems to have assumed we got those cushy life-long jobs around 1942. Baby Boomers. Unreal. Schools used to care about teaching generation knowledge but apparently they don't (or can't) anymore.
Yup: too much ignorance, not enough time to deal with it all. I now find myself scrubbing most of my would-be educational replies -- then changing my mind! Life is too short. Will be even better when I don't start on them. Too old to be a Boomer.
True. I was born in 1942. But just as your Atlantic-stopping article author was hazy about Boomers (and, evidently, the dates of WW2) I can never remember the defining dates for Millennials and Gen Z, however often I look it up!

Well, I doubt you were gainfully employed in a life-long job in 1942.
