This is ridiculous. What can we do to convince AMC not to cave to pressure from over-zealous activists?

Outrageous censuring! TQ cult = same as patriarchal dominance! I'm livid!

The showings have been cancelled.

That appears to be true, at least in my area. How annoying. Time to boycott AMC I guess.

email them and tell them to return it to the theaters.

Here’s my email. Please tell me if this sounds good.

Dear AMC, Disney and Team,

I’ve just been informed that No Way Back has been pulled from its one day run across theaters. I’m respectfully asking that you reinstate the film and not allow activists who label anything they don’t agree with as “anti-trans” the power to censor information the public has a right to hear. In the past year, several European countries have drastically reversed their approach to gender affirming care, not to be “anti” but to recognize that the current standard of care was severely lacking. This film may contain important information that presents a different view that needs to be considered.

In the past few weeks I’ve seen very positive social media around your company for allowing this film its run and it would be a shame for you to to side with censorship and bullying. Please reconsider your decision.

Sincerely,

I wish I was in that day! I am in the DC area. I had understood that the film would be shown around the country, but I only saw the NYC location in my search. Is that the only location that's showing it?

Can you comment on when this will be available in other cities and/or on streaming platforms?

It should be in other cities on the same day if they have AMC theaters. But I don't know anything—I'm just in it and thought it would be fun to hang with some readers at the screening!
