I'm really grateful for you

Dear people who’ve been reading what I write here:

This week’s post had record typos, which I’ve corrected, and I’ll be adding tidbits to this gender debate cheat-sheet as I’m able. I would love to go back to publishing these kinds of pieces in the mainstream media, where I can be edited and fact-checked and copyedited and enter complicated ideas into the public consciousness with the support of editors.

I hope and believe that there will be more openness in the press in the near future. This op-ed by Drs. Laura Edwards-Leeper and Erica Anderson is a huge step in that direction. Writers don’t usually have a say in the headline, and Edwards-Leeper made clear on Twitter that she agrees it’s not accurate to call kids with gender dysphoria “trans kids.” This is why the mainstream and left media needs so much retraining; we’ve been sold a narrative that we perpetuate, without examining it critically.
