Resolved: America Needs Radical Change Now
FREE! Register here.
Come for a thoughtful and engaging conversation featuring the expertise and insight of a unique mix of local leaders and national thinkers. Themes will include decadence and corruption, radicalism and moderation, the sufficiency or insufficiency of our political system, and the kinds of radical change thinkers across the political spectrum might find to be necessary.
Braver Angels Debates, in all their forms, are meant to stir our curiosity about those who think differently from us, showing us why they see the world as they do. The Coliseum Debate program showcases the breadth of thought on a timely question, placing noted thinkers in productive intellectual conflict with each other -- always in a spirit of curiosity, courage, and good will.
Jessie Mannisto, Director of Debates for Braver Angels, will serve as chair.
Panelists will include:
Geoff Shullenberger, Compact Magazine
Bhaskar Sunkara, Jacobin Magazine
Spencer Reynolds, Forward Party
Lisa Selin Davis, author of Tomboy and Housewife

Good luck! I would join debates like this to tell the untold stories of trans widows, but I'd fear for my safety afterward, not because of your fellow debaters, but because of exactly the radicalism woven into the political fabric of US cities. I'm now revealing the "trans" radicalism going back into the 1990s, with my analysis of the sworn affidavit that "sexologist" Dr. Christine "Connie" Wheeler submitted to the court during my fight to retain full custody of my two young sons, after their father engaged in careless narcissism during his transition. Due to his inattention 4 months after he started estrogen, he failed to protect our sons from glass litter on a Brooklyn playground and my older son suffered a serious eye injury, fortunately mostly fixed in the surgery. While this might sound like one unusual case, you will find, in the documentary, Behind the Looking Glass at Lime Soda Films many other trans widows telling of the same abuse, neglect and selfishness. Sanctioned selfishness.
