Non-gender rec of the week:

In an effort to share something besides TV and movies, I’ll offer up these paper collages by upstate artist, Diane Moroff. Before gender ate my brain, I was obsessed with urban planning and architecture, and especially the design of community, so I’m often drawn to art that finds beauty in overlooked urban and suburban landscapes.

To the news…

I haven’t weighed in on the important thesis going around that women have ruined everything! Sorry—I was busy being more focused on things than people and being disagreeable and preferring large groups to small, intimate ones. But, okay, some of wokeism may be rooted in women taking over industries. But other things happened concurrently—like, say, social media, dominated by neurodiverse men. Causation, correlation, Hasenpfeffer Incorporated.

Speaking of sex differences: according to The New York Times, women are taking large quantities of testosterone, mostly to get it on like the fellas do. But: “Trans men take testosterone in much higher doses than even the highest-dose pellets, and are not thought to be putting their health at risk.” Um, tell that to their uteruses.

The big question of the week: Did we pass peak trans?
